Exceptional architectural design requires a detailed understanding of:

– the site in context,

– the local vernacular,

– consideration to where one is able to push the boundaries,

– the user’s lifestyle,

– and being able to set a detailed brief.

Being able to envelope and mould existing space carries a responsibility with it. A responsibility towards the user, the space itself, and the environment.

Each project has a unique set of rules and therein lies the challenge that makes architecture fun.

Architects should never stop learning, researching, and getting out of our comfort zone in order to grow with every project.
